Boy Scouts!!

Awwwww, and here is Ryan again, or as Grampa calls him, "Myron"!! He spent several days at boy scout camp this summer. Looks like he did tons of cool stuff!! Way to go Myron!!!

Now here are more recipes for your holiday baking!

7 Layer Bars
Makes Approx 18-24
1 Stick Margarine melted in pan.

1 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs

1 Cup Coconut

1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

1/2 Package Milk Chocolate Chips

1/2 Package Butterscotch Chips

1 Cup Of Your Favorite Chopped Nuts

Layer all ingredients in order listed in a 9x13 cake pan. Then bake at 350 degrees for about 20 min or untill it starts to pull away from the side of the pan. Let cool and then cut into squares. Very good but also rich.

Christmas Candied Walnuts
2 cups brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

6 cups walnut halves

Put sugars into saucepan and mix; add sour cream. Stir while cooking to the soft ball stage. Add vanilla and stir until fairly thick. Add the walnuts and stir until evenly coated. Turn out on a cookie sheet covered with waxed paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot. Let nuts cool and break apart.
