Another hobby/craft I love to do, along with making my Goat Milk Soap, is painting rocks and making them into animals. I've made owls, deer, raccoons, mice, rabbits, skunks, tigers and more. The grandkids like to get in on this too. They collect, wash and even paint the base coats on them.
The top photo is a finished rock, the other is how I start them. I pick a rock for the shape of the animal I want to paint, and either base coat it or use a sharpie to put on the basic shapes.
Then I paint in the details.
