In my profile I stated I had five kids. I also have 3 step-children. Along with these 8 kids, are their kids!! To date we (my honey & I) have 8 kids and 21 grandkids!!! My husband is from New York. Oh, excuse me, BROOKLYN!! Those from Brooklyn think of themselves as from a different state. They have the New York accent, but when asked if from New York, they say NO, Brooklyn!!! Any other Brooklynites out there, give us a shout!!!!!Tell us your interests (arts/crafts). Anyways, here is one of our grandchildren, Amanda (pictured above).
She has been in hip hop dancing for several years, and just started Middle School. Her mother just finished Nursing School and is a real live nurse!!! Congratulations Bonnie!!
Here is a quick, easy, good recipe for homemade noodles:
2 cups of flour
4 eggs
salt to taste
Put flour in a bowl, making a hole in the middle, room enough for the eggs. Mix well, kneading till smooth, adding little amounts of flour so it doesn't stick. Roll to thickness of noodles you want, make sure its floured well. When the thickness you want, cut into the size noodles you want. When we don't have any chicken or beef, we cook this in chicken or beef broth. Add to the boiling broth, stirring till all is seperate. Cook about 20 minutes or till doneness you prefer (I like al dente)
